Well made and very flexible. Gloves provide a good grip and breathable construction. After long rides on miami beach in the middle of summer gloves were remarkably dry compared to my last pair.

It Has a good receive sensitivity , chipset is RTL8187 , the software comes for windows give you ability to control TxPower (the transmit power) on a scale 0-100%.
SoftAP, work also as an access point (though software).

Great Product At An Even Better Price August 24, 2010

Works just as described. All you need to do is install the drivers and plug it in. The range on this thing is incredible! I live in an apartment so there are a lot of barriers between the signals but I still can see over 20 Access Points.
The mount is handy for clamping it on your laptop or sticking it on your window.

I have to say that that this product does as advertised. I went from 2 bars to 5 bars signal strength in my home. I am also able to detect at least a dozen more signals that I did not have before installing the adapter.
The adapter is based on a Realtek 8187 wifi network adapter. The only difficulty was finding the right utility and driver to get it going on an Win 7-64 bit based notebook. If you have Win 7 you need to install Realtek 8187B wireless 2.0 USB utility and driver.
The bottom line is that the product works as advertised. I would have rated it 5 stars but the download site only has the Win XP utility/driver, I had to go to a 3rd party site to get it.
