Product Description The Ultra RangePlus Dual-Band Wireless-N USB Network Adapter is the simple way to add or upgrade wireless connectivity in your desktop or notebook computer. Just plug it into your computer's USB port and enjoy incredible high-speed wireless network access. The Dual-Band Wireless-N USB Network Adapter uses the very latest wireless networking technology, Wireless-N (draft 802.11n). By overlaying the signals of multiple radios for each band, Wireless-N's "Multiple In, Multiple Out" (MIMO) technology multiplies the effective data rate. Unlike ordinary wireless networking technologies that are confused by signal reflections, MIMO actually uses these reflections to increase the range and reduce "dead spots" in the wireless coverage area. The robust signal travels farther, maintaining wireless connections much farther than standard Wireless-G. And with Wireless-N, the farther away you are, the more speed advantage you get. It works great with standard Wireless-G, -A, and -B equipment, but when both ends of the wireless link are Wireless-N, the throughput can be increased even more by using twice as much radio band Dual-band wireless networks operate in both the 2.4 and 5 gigahertz radio bands at the same time, effectively doubling the available wireless bandwidth. For instance, you could set up your network to handle video streaming on one radio band, and use the other band for simultaneous data transfers - avoiding any interference or collisions that would degrade the video performance. The Dual-Band Wireless-N USB Network Adapter allows you to connect using whichever band works the best for your situation. Operates in the 2.4 and 5GHz radio bands - choose the one with least congestion in your area Also connects to Wireless-G, -B, and -A networks

Works fine as a USB network card July 22, 2010 Mumra The device works fine, got here quickly and installed easy ... But I just wasn't able to get any more range from it than from my normal laptop wireless or my iPhone :(
A product that did not fit my needs July 14, 2010 Paul H. Love (Duluth, MN) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a good product that did not fit the need for additional wireless coverage. Returned product
Completely disappointed June 22, 2010 S. Gangichiodo (Brooklyn, NY) When I originally installed this, I put it on a hacked version of windows 7 32bit (shhhhhh) and it installed just fine, but my mother was constantly calling me while I was at work stating that she can't get on the internet. I blamed her as the cause as she was probably doing something wrong or touching things she shouldn't. Months later I purchased a legit copy of windows 7 (64 bit)and installed it (see happy ending) expecting that maybe now it will work. Thing were looking promising but BEHOLD! the same issues. I downloaded the latest drivers and nothing. After a few min it disconnects again.
*mind you I work as desktop/IT support for a banking firm. This isn't a major thing for me, or anyone for that matter, to figure out*
All in all this is a complete upset. Here I am yelling at my own mother when it was the adapter that was the issue.
I did not have ANY issues with the cheap-o belkin USB adapter I purchased a while back. And if it weren't for my compulsion to buy nice things and the fact I accidentally snapped the Belkin adapter by dropping it and stepping on it, I would have gone back to the Belkin adapter. This was a waist of money. Also mind you that I am also not running shady equipment either. I was shocked to see this kind of performance from a product with CISCOs name slapped on it.
FAST SHIPPING & AMAZING PRICE!!! A+ June 15, 2010 Chase Millar (Palm Beach Gardens, FL) Click n play just like legos!
A+
WIDE RANGE & VERY STRONG SIGNAL!
Makes me happy.
Excellent product by Linksys June 13, 2010 J. Warta (Alaska) I purchased this wireless adapter because an older one I had, the Linksys WUSB11v4, was incompatible with Windows 7 when I upgraded from XP. This model, the WUSB600N is fully compatible with Windows 7 64-bit, and is fully plug-and-play. So far, after about 4 weeks of use, I have encountered no problems.
I haven't had a chance yet to test the Wireless-N portion of it, but this seems to deliver Wireless-G faster than my previous model did.
I expect this product to last me a long time.
